About Surbhi Shah 

Surbhi Shah’s passion for design and enterprise is something which was there all along. Hailing from a family of Jewellers from Jaipur, she gained a deep understanding of design and entrepreneurship from a very young age. An art student, her passion was finally realised in 2007 when she started her small studio rent and took the first steps. As of now, Surbhi Shah’s label is well known across the country now with significant contributions from her better half, Varun Shah. While Surbhi Shah is the Creative head and the heart of the studio, her husband Varun has played a significant role in the inception of the studio and the progress it has made so far. Together, this formidable duo and their ensuing passion for design and entrepreneurship have enabled this power couple to take the Studio to new heights. 

Our Philosophy 

The influence of Jaipur’s culture and the rich heritage of Rajasthan is unmissable in Surbhi Shah’s bespoke luxury occasion wear. The design philosophy is cultivated around the idea of inculcating a blend of feelings such as elegance and sophistication with a touch of class.

Surbhi Shah’s expertise in using the finest fabrics and our unique in-house designing and dyeing contributes to a look and feel which inspires awe and builds toward an ensemble of outfits which is fit for the royals. 

What sets us apart? 

Although our studio initially specialised in Gota Patti embroidery, over the years, we have gained mastery over a beautiful blend of handworks as we employ and incorporate intricate techniques such as Zardozi, Aari Taari, Petal, and Pitton embroideries.
Apart from this, the studio has gained considerable expertise with various types of works and techniques such as zardozi, Gota Patti, Marori, Sequins, Resham, Cutdana as well as Danka and Lucknowi work. Using these techniques allows us to conceptualise designs and exquisite ensembles which are stunning and unique.

We pride ourselves on using the finest materials and pure fabrics such as Chiffon, Georgette, Silk, Moonga, Tussar Organza, Bandhani, Lehriya and Tye Dye. Using these fabrics of the highest order allows us to deliver a piece which has a premium and luxurious feel.

Our Journey so far

The turning point for Shah came after the launch of our flagship store in January 2012 and participation in Rajasthan Fashion Week in 2012 and 2013. Our brand has since then participated in major lifestyle shows across India as well in cities like Dubai and Bangkok. Our exquisite merchandise is available in multiple stores across the country and over the last 5 years, we have been fortunate enough to serve the top niche clientele of major Indian cities.
